Sweet Dill Pickles

½ gallon dill pickles
2 ½ cup sugar
1 cup vinegar

Rinse jar and pickles.
Cut pickles into chunks.
Put pickles back into jar.
Pour sugar and vinegar over pickles.
Replace lid and shake.
Refrigerate overnight.
Shake again until sugar dissolves.
